Court Dissolves 26-Year Old Marriage

An Orile Agege Customary Court in Lagos on Tuesday dissolved a 26-year old marriage over stealing and being troublesome by the woman.
The Court President, Mr. Joseph Adewusi, held that the union of Alhaji Rasheed Gbadamosi and his erstwhile wife, Bamidele, broke down as a result of lack of transparency on the part of the woman.
He referred custody of the only underage child produced by the union to the Family Court.
“In the interim, the child remains with her mother. The father is ordered to be giving N5,000 monthly for the child’s upkeep, through this court.
“The other three children are to decide who they should live with,” Adewusi ordered.
He also ordered the man to compensate the wife with N50,000.

Richard Mofe Damijo RMD denies N50 million fraud

Star actor and current Delta State commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Richard Mofe Damijo, is at the centre of an alleged fraudulent transfer of funds which the EFCC is supposedly currently investigating. The report claimed that RMD and the acting GM of the Delta State Tourism Board, Mrs Philo Nkem Ajufo, squandered N50 million belonging to the ministry.
RMD has finally reacted to the allegations, insisting it's not true.
"I won't respond to Sahara Reports. When it's time, I will. And I'm sure you know it's not true" He told Encomium magazine on March 3rd.
RMD and Toolz hosted Iyanya's concert on Saturday and the governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan was in the audience. The most interesting part of this allegation is that EFCC is yet to alert the nation of any fraud in Delta State.

It is not easy to be up there without getting a fair share of the scandals of life from time to time. This is more so when you are a man of God and many people look up to you.
"I have made all efforts to persuade her, I went as far as meeting some of our elders, senior pastors and bishops. I even met redeemed Christian church of God general overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and all those that are concerned to help me beg her but she refused to come back home. I also wrote to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) on the issue.."

Spotted Lies Nigeria Celebrities Have Told Their Fans

To these showbiz stars, speaking from both sides of their mouth is a thing of joy and pride. Over time, these entertainers have publicly lied and deceived the media, their fans and the world at large, only to be found eating back their words and burying their heads in shame, especially when the truth surfaces and becomes unassailable.
The case of busty crossover actress, Foluke Daramola is not just one among many others, but also a clue to how our screen idols blatantly betray our trust in them.
For instance, many months after denying her romantic affair with Kayode Salako, Daramola finally tied the knot with same man, to the consternation of many.
However, while some have had to lie in order to save a situation, others have proved to be congenital liars who have constantly cajoled the public with inveterate lies.
In this authentic list, Entertainment Express showcases ten top entertainers and the many shocking lies they boldly told the public through the media. The list is arranged based on the gravity of the lies.

What do you do for a living? What's a typical day for you in your hometown?
I am a full-time student and I work part-time. I just moved to Houston, Texas, so I'm still adjusting, but in my home town there is no typical day.

I love to go out, so I can be anywhere at any given time.

'I saw Boko Haram kill my husband, snatch my kids'

IT was a heart-rending session yesterday in Abuja.
Many were in tears as victims of the Boko Haram sect relived how their loved ones were killed, leaving them with shattered lives.
It was at an event where funds were raised to support survivors of the fundamentalists’ bloodletting.
In a shaky and emotional voice, Mrs Deborah Shettima from Borno State recounted how Boko Haram insurgents killed her husband in her presence, snatched away her two children and returned a few days later to kill her only surviving child. All she has left are photographs of her loved ones, which she displayed.
Pastor Serana Chinda of the All Saints Protestant Church, Hauran Wanki, Barracks in Kano spoke of how 17 members of his congregation were killed for refusing to divorce Jesus Christ.
