How to Be Creative

Though creativity cannot be taught, it can certainly be nurtured. Though you may suddenly get inspired into a burst of creativity, creativity doesn't have to hit you like a bolt of lightning — it can also be sustained and even enhanced if you have the right outlook, set up a favourable routine, and don't put too much pressure on yourself. If you want to know how to be creative, just follow these steps.
Method 1 of 3: Adjusting Your Mindset

Be Creative Step 1

Take feedback with a grain of salt. Keep following your own path. The problem with asking for feedback is that a person's feedback will always be biased because he or she will have a different idea of what your work should be. Other people will try to push you in a direction that might be right for them, but not for you. Though they may have good intentions, this will only stifle you. You should be comfortable asking for feedback, but don't let anyone's opinion keep you doing from what you're doing.

a-DORA-ble - Dora Akunyili (By Hannatu Musawa)

Dora Akunyili
Columnist:
 Hannatu Musawa

I first fell in adoration with Professor Dora Akunyili sometime in 2002 when I watched a news clip of her speaking about her commitment to eradicate counterfeit drugs and unsafe food. Back then, she was the Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
At that time, Mrs Akunyili’s enthusiasm and valor to clean up a sector flooded with fake foods and drugs endeared her to a population so ravaged by the dishonesty and mendacity of administration officers. It seemed unfathomable to most of us that such a principled government official, who was ready to risk her personal safety in order to do what was right in her capacity as a Nigerian in the position of authority, would operate with the kind of unabated zeal that she did.
To Africa’s most populous nation, she was the amazon who became a breath of fresh air. Together with the likes of Chief Gani Fawehinmi, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, she was the conscience of a nation and the poster child for what a new Nigeria could be if only we took the initiative and embraced the courage to do what was right.  She came across as a very blunt woman who was unapologetic for her convictions and ideals. She was the government insider that wasn’t afraid to stand up and speak on the issues she believed in, an art that has been fundamentally misplaced to the shameful sycophancy and brownnosing pretension and calculated doublespeak often seen in the corridors of power in Nigeria.

"Dora Akunyili NOT Dead, In Fact She Is Getting Better"

Since yesterday evening, rumours have been circulating on social media suggesting that former NAFDAC boss and information minister Dora Akunyili is dead. However this is FALSE. Mrs Akunyili's media aide has this evening refuted the rumors, revealing that she was yesterday visited by former Anambra governor Peter Obi, where she is receiving treatment in India. See photo after the cut: .Former Anambra Governor Peter Obi visiting ailing former NAFDAC boss yesterday. *At this point, rather than spread rumors, let's try to pray for the speedy recovery of this great woman.*

Five Expatriates Kidnapped Off Bayelsa Coastline Freed

Five foreigners kidnapped aboard a German ship off the Niger Delta region coast in Bayelsa have regained their freedom.

Some yet to be identified gunmen abducted the five expatriates aboard an oil support vessel along Sagana waterways in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa on April 26 2013.

Kidnappings and killings carried out by pirates, and former militants have increased dramatically in the area until recent times.

The deployment of 20 gunboats recently acquired by Bayelsa government by the security forces has failed to reign in the rampaging pirates even as Gov. Seriake Dickson rarely stays in the state to address the worsening insecurity in his domain, often traveling to Abuja the nation's capital to see President Goodluck Jonathan.

Dirty And Reckless Lifestyle Of Billionaire Mike Adenuga’s Prodigal Son Paddy & Why His Sexual Status Remains Controversial

The true sexuality of Paddy Adenuga, like the proverbial Igbo man would say, a pregnant woman can never conceal her pregnancy. Islanders have for long debated heatedly on Paddy’s sexuality with a lot strongly maintaining that he is as gay as the word GAY. So dangerous is the social scenario on the Island that those with huge manhood are an open secret and even the small ones are much listed. Who is top (the man), who is bottom (the woman) and who is versatile (dual roles) are all known. For lack of space and
